New year, new you? Who has made the resolution to be a bit more intentional with your recycling in 2024? Let us help you get off to a great start with Portsmouth’s first E-waste Amnesty Week.
Having gathered data from across the city, the overwhelming response to what prevents people from donating or repairing their unwanted electrical items, is knowing where to take things. As you may know, our solution to this has been to make a digital map of the city that identifies where you can take different electrical items, depending on whether you want to sell/donate/repair or recycle them.
To support this further, we are partnering with a number of locations across the city who will be delighted to take your unwanted electricals off your hands during Portsmouth’s E-waste Amnesty Week.
So, got unused phones, cables, tablets, tech etc laying about your home? Take 10 minutes this week to collect them out of drawers, from under beds and back of cupboards, and donate them to help local charities.
